National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Imphal has announced walk-in interview opportunities for eligible candidates for multiple contractual positions. The recruitment includes Assistant Professor, Research Associate, Lecturer, Lab Technician, and Technical Assistant positions.

1. Assistant Professor

• Vacancies: 16
• Remuneration: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
• Employment: Contractual
• Initial Period: 11 months, subject to consolidated terms

2. Research Associate

• Vacancy: 1
• Remuneration: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
• Employment: Contractual

3. Lecturer

• Vacancies: 5
• Remuneration: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month
• Employment: Contractual

4. Lab Technician

• Vacancies: 16
• Remuneration: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
• Employment: Contractual

5. Technical Assistant

• Vacancy: 1
• Remuneration: ₹750 per day, subject to a maximum of ₹16,000 per month
• Initial engagement: 6 months, extendable as per requirement
• Qualification: BCA / MCA / B.E. / B.Tech
• Desirable: Prior knowledge of 3D modelling, 3D printing, drone parts fabrication and drone assembly
